According to Hollywood news website The Tracking Board Lionsgate has closed the rights to adapt Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga into a Live action film
Apparently Michael Gracey in line to direct the movie.Gracey has previously worked in visual effects and animation, and is now directing upcoming films such as an adaptation of Roald Dahl's The witches and an Elton John biopic Rocketman.
The skepticism right now is very high since the previous live action adaptations of anime and manga haven't been good, like the Dragonball live action adaptation, Dragonball Evolution. So it still remains whether the anime and manga fans will accept it.
